well the PMDG 777 can wait lol. I just go the A2A Cessna 172. What a brilliant little machine. They modeled it so you actualy need to do a walk around and check cables/oil/fuel etc. Even when you not playing FSX (even if your computer is not even turned on) things will degrade, oil will age and bolts will go "missing" etc.
Even the little optional portable GPS will run out of battery power if you forget to turn it off when you leave the aircraft/game.
It has native support for the RealityXP Gps if you have it.
They out did themselves again.

Silent Hunter 3 has a 1 click installer for GWX 3 now. I seem to remeber trying to install it before the installer was a long head scratching trek through uncountable files and configs. Now it installs in 1 click =)
Working well for me on my W7 machine but requires stepping down your system screen ress to 1280,980 before it will start.

i was in CVA Alliance when one of our guys had his officer fit mother ship, bumped out of a POS shield by a corp memeber and it was stolen. They go away with it too lol. Tbh CVA was failing at the end there anyway, then they got booted out of 0.0 lol. I had left long before that lol.

i would so love to be excited by the 777 but FSX is just to unstable on my system. never finish a flight with the 737NGX. tried everything =(

Love the tyre/ground deformation and the fact that the mud sticks to the tyres =)

I am guessing that many of the servers are still on 1.2.4.11652 so that's why you fail to connect (this will change once everyones updated) try the server named '104th Dedicated @1.2.4.11855' in the list.
just tried it for the 104th Dedicated server but its the same. Will try again later.

ok same as above but now after using the new update, I Get "Connection Interupted" on every single server before its even loaded.
Patch totaly broke multiplayer for me.
Using optical broadband on a physical cable (Not Wifi)
Windows 7 64bit
i7 950
Asus 560ti
12 gigs Kingston ram.

just tried it again set a LAN. still "Connection Interupted" tried 3 servers.

hopelessly unstable for me =( disconnects every 10 mins or so. same as last version.

bug report hehe. If the autopilot is on and the aircraft is crashed or otherwise destroyed, the game does not give you a window to exit. You know the window that comes up and says End Mission etc. It does not if the autopilot is on.

downloads are soooooo slooooow! tried torrent but its saying 2 weeks to DL lol. I know everyone is getting the update 1.2.4 but this is crazy =(

you know there is a game in Japan that involves playing football while wearing binoculars. It would be fun to make a mission that also requires Binos for the entire time =0 :)

i do know if you are flying and have a Jtac unit on the ground he will work until you try to move him on the map then you will not be able to speak to him again as a JTAC. Wish we could direct Jtac units from the air =(

I didn't know that the A-10 had afterburners :huh:
most game developers dont either. And Hollywood dont have a clue either, I once saw a UAV with afterburners too. So silly :)

been waiting for Nevada since the Hogs beta 1 . I cried a little when it was taken away from us. still I wait here patiently for its return. So I would have to say Nevada.
There are no words to discribe just how much the DCS series needs a new area to fly in.

Not sure if this is a bug or I'm doing something wrong.
After pressing F10, I select a KA-50 flight and order them to attack a target and it works fine. However if I select a route and they reach the end of the route they start orbiting at that end waypoint as it says in the manual, but then it won't allow me to assign a target.
not sure but I think they need to be able to see the target themselves, you can see it but they cant. get em closer and try again. Its just a guess though =)

option to ask they to refuel from a tanker too would be great seeing as how you can even move the tanker where its needed on the fly.

I love Track IR so much I use it in almost every game that it runs with. Its awsome in Arma2/3 and just about every driving game ever! Even Euro Truck sim 2 of all things =)

i dont think they though about what would happen on release day lol. They overhyped it and it turned on them lol.
Expect them to do it all over again the next time they release a game. These big corps don,t learn.

will be avoiding. No excuse for the kind of DRM they are putting in. They dont seem to understand that within 20 mins of the game being release there will be a cracked copy that does not require "always online" connections.
And since I plan on never using a cracked game, I will never play this game.
The only people that get punished is the genuine paying customer.

make sure to update your firmware. There was a problem with the firmware at release that cause the throttle side to fail every so often and require returning to manufacture to fix.
Im sure its already upto date if you just gt it but you should check anyway. I,ve not had a problem but I know others that have.

it is alot of fun and works well. I use it with Track IR also as its brilliant. Really needs a wheel to get the best out of it. Love being able to customise my trucks and build a company.
Some really stunning scenery too (I drove down to Austria and was blow away by the mountains and twisty roads!) and you can drive on and off the ferry/eurotunnel.

The Phrase "tail wagging the dog" comes to mind here, putting such a powerfull and heavy engine in an aircraft with no power assists or fly by wire is never going to be easy to take off or land =)
