I am looking for a casual to possibly semi realism group. I originally had planed to start up my own group dubbed 31st Allied Air Wing for the 31 allied countries in the world. A place for casual pilots to come and go and play on a more time to time style if need be but also be semi realistic. Due to time commitments it just never took off. I fly almost every single allied style aircraft in DCS with my main favorites being the UH-60, soon chinook, huey, ah-64, kiowa, P-51, spitfire, A-10c2, f-16c and f-18c. I am more of a rotorhead than fixed with though as of late. You can find me from time to time on rotorheads multiplayer server.
Here is my dilemma. I am a 32 year old career Firefighter Paramedic in the EST of the US. Meaning I work every 3rd day so 24 on 48 off with the occasional double shift for overtime so it makes it hard sometimes to have any consistency other than working every 3rd day. For that reason I am not looking for a place that has set days for playing or training. Id like to just jump on with folks and do things and not worry about specific times since the days I have off rotate constantly. I have about 12k hrs in DCS, yes you are reading that right. I have a full hotas setup with rudder pedals and track ir as well as mfds so you can say I tale my setup serious. But my flying is more casual with some semi realism aspects. I dont care to dogfight as I am not good at it so thats mostly why I run CAS or rotorcraft.
For lack of a better explanation I am looking for some place with a persistent campaign like rotorheads or others since I dont have any consistent schedule per week.
