  1. I have been playing BS for 2 years with x-52 pro, g940, x-65f With old firmware g940, I couldn't fly freely because of center slop So I had changed to x-65f, but force sensing stick is not suited for helo to me I heard that new firmware was released for g940, so I bought it once more expecting the some improvement Center slop is neally gone but remains, but playing BS is much acceptable But there is really annoying problem about trimming When you push trim button with ffb joystick, there is always minor movement releasing button Within 20 - 30% range of X, Y axis that movement tend to move inward to center Outside that range that movement tend to go outward You can observe it by joystick minimap(ctrl +enter) Move cyclic where you want then press trim key watching the joystick There should be minor movement regardless of joystick setting I dont think this problem only apply to me nor my joystick problem I can confirm this by ingame keyboard cyclic keypress Keyboard cyclic key binds to arrow key I tested max and min x, y axis cyclic movement ingame followed by my ffb joystick movement The stick movement is exact same ingame joystick map But after keyboard cyclic movement, trim key pushing and releasing always make unwanted movement of ffb joystick and ingame joystick map Anybody with ffb stick follow this 1. Play the bs 2. In cockpit, boot helo on 3. Press the arrow key by keyboard not by joystick to move cyclic 4. Watch the ingame joystick map and your ffb stick. you can see the movement of both by arrow key 5. Trim anywhere you want. Esp in min, max axis. Dont use your ffb stick. just press T key 6. Observe the unwanted input I wonder if there is this problem in another ffb stick Please ED confirm this. I think there is some problem in triming logic
  2. I can`t find X65F HID and usb from MS. where could I find it?
  3. X65F, itself it is good. comparing with G940 (my former HOTAS), it is much better. on FC2, X65F is much acceptable, and precise. but on BS, difficult to maneuver. keeping point where I want is much unstable than moving stick. and X65F has one obvious fault. its centering is not zero point in X, Y axis. I have complained Saitek-reseller about that problem. they replied that most of X65F`s centering are same. there is not solving method now. so, I have to set deadzone in X, Y axis if someone want to buy X65F, keep that in mind anyway, any suggestions about maneuvering BS with Force-sensing stick are welcomed. PS. sorry for poor english
  4. hi, Dragon I have a few problems with your mission, not due to your mission pack itself ,I think I have experienced CTDs during your mission "Attack on Krymsk". I reach the red square on abris where our artillery units are located, then, got message about attacking , our forces start attack on opposite, and AH64 is coming, after combat for 5~10min, then BS program crashes! I experience CTD everytime. moreover, the republic campaign made by Dzen is same. so I can`t enjoy customized SP missions at all except MP hosted by other player I wonder that this is related to trigerring, or sound, others my system is english DL version of BS E8400 9600gt window 7 64bit 4g ram
  5. at first, sorry for my poor english I have "two" problems with my brand new G940 I have been playing DCS:BS with G940 for 4 days here, in Asia one thing is about trimming, at flying bird. when I press the trim key (T), the stick is going under low FF power, but it does "not" keep position where i want. after in 1sec, the stick recenters. any position, any direction as same the stick recenters. this is my first time to use FF joystick, so I don`t know why. why? why? I have changed every setting in profile, FF setting, but same result is it impossilbe to trim with G940 joystick? I am much dissapointed, and regretful moreover I can`t find any feedback from logitech, where could I get helpful solution? and the profile is not complete under my OS windows 7. I could`t start many games under logitech profile. whenever I click "start the game XXX" nothing seems to be happen. I wanna updated version above 5.06 of logitech profile second is calibration problem of ministick on joystick. the ministick`s center is NE of intended center a little. I used program enclosed with release CD. but I could not recalibrate at all there is no mini X tap on program. at axis command in DCS:BS option, the DCS:BS detect the mini X as slide X and mini Y as slide Y. could I map ministick as other than slide? in game as IL-2 there are no problems, but impossilbe trimming much annoys! my impression : No trimming, no worth -------------------------- this is same article from simhq i wrote
