I've the same problem than you, if you go to see inside the file me_about.lua you can see some russian terms(for me russian download), so I just put in regional options that my language was russian, and the keyboard russian, reboot and the game works and all my computer still works in french!!!

I've put my settings in russian and IT WORKS!! I've not seen this tip before!!!! TY!

how do you run as you call an "administrator"

Hello I've bought an russian version online one year ago. All was working well up to the day I decide to push to 1.0.1a via the french patch + the french hotfix. I can't go in the options menu I've the hard copy n°3 warning! So I read some threads which were similar than me and they say that install russian patch for russian version and so on... So I did it, I download the russian online version of 1.0.1a then the 1.0.1b arrived and I try the russian version, the french one and the english one and I've got always the same problem who is: see the hard copy ... So I double-click on DCS1.0.1.exe, and that screen appears! I say "OK", menu page is on, I go on "Instant action" and direct I've got se second Hard copy warning!and after "OK" I join direct the debriefing page!! If I go to missions:it works and when I leave the game I've the First warning! If I go in campain, it works and still have the first warning hard copy when leaving! To sum-up, I can't change the controls, but change graphics parameters and sounds, I can't play intant action but play campain and missions... If somebody has an idea. Using 8600 GT as graphics card
