    If there's nothing else playable, Player enter unit wont fire at the same time as the mission starts. You can see this happen if you add anything else playable. In this circumstance player enter unit is the same as mission start. It fires whenever the player is in the game but hasn't taken a slot.
    Same as birth.
    There's several of these events that have never been implemented properly and/or have quirky interactions in SP/MP as host/MP as client.

    Is there something you are trying to achieve (rather than testing the events) let me know.

    No, tracks are called replay, but they aren't a recording, they are a step by step reincarnation of a mission that was played. When in MP as a client, no tracks will show other players as they aren't there to be replayed. For MP, look for a free mod called Tacview and for servers that allow replays (ones that dont give you a blank track) Some servers withhold tracks but you can download them from the server after some hours. HTH with the reason its a hard no.

    I've updated the first post to include all four of the server persistence scripts I made and use.

    There was an issue with simple group saving that occurred some time back due to a bug with DCS where a get unit by number (MOOSE GetUnit(x)) no longer worked and only gave the first unit, which meant mixed units in a group would fail. I fixed this 5 months back.

    Added Warehouse persistence script (SWS) recently.

    Added a link to Multiplayer Slot Guard which is useful in the same context as an admin tool.
