To begin with I really enjoy flying at your server, your missions are the best!
I just flew the F14 in the "When The Mountains Cry"-mission. After I parked my plane (Vinziani, not on the runway) and left the server to re-install SRS, I could not hop into the F14 again a few minutes later. Not sure what I did wrong, maybe it was counted as a loss? How am I supposed to do next time for this not to happen again?

It's quite possible, that it is only availale in the OB so far. I'm not sure when the last Stable update was, as I'm only using the OB, so that might indeed be the issue.

 

This feature is only available in open beta version.

Just to sort some things out, should this feature available in the stable version or is it just in the open beta? I'm on stable.

And by dogfight mode, are you reffering to the "Autothrottle disconnect / IR-missle fast select"-control setting?

 

In the Viggen manual on page 279 i read this:

"On the indicator on the data panel the current stores status can be displayed. With the IN/ OUT

selector in position OUT in any other mode than ID-NR the weapons status will displayed in

the following situations:

 

» The Missile selector FRAMSTEGN is pressed ("Missile Select Button (IR-RB FRAMSTEGN) - Down")

» Trigger safety unsafe

» Weapons error (FÄLLD LAST flashing) (I see no flashing)

» Data selector in mode TAKT (I assume by the manual and your answer that any mode except "ID-NR" should work)

 

The following indications for the weapons:

» 1 Indicates that the pylon has a weapon attached and the weapon is fully functioning and ready

to be used.

» - indicates the weapon has an error and is unusable.

» 0 Indicates that the weapon has been released. (This I see after firing a missle)

» The Selected pylon is indicated by a flashing symbol."

So once this goes live the currently selected missile pylon will be indicated by a flashing digit on the TAKT UT display and cycling through the pylons with IR-RB FRAMSTEGN will change the indication accordingly?

Tested it now after the latest update and i works great. "FRAMSTEG toggle" is the button I am using and when you unsafe the data display will tell you which station is selected by a flashing "1".

Now you can save dose RB24s for easier targets and be confident that you have the more potent 74s selected There is a bit of delay with the Framsteg button but nothing serious.

Hmm what I am missing please? I can't get it work. Mapped those mappings and they do nothin when selected A2A missile mode. Only way to switch pylons somehow is to press IR-missile fast select override button.

Map the "down" button and it should work.

Hmm I cannot get the keybind and flashing indication to work, I must do something wrong :doh: A step-by-step explanation would be very much appreciated!

 

• I succeed with changing the fire order by pressing the cockpit IR-FRAMSEGN-button. Everytime I press the button the fire order changes. What i have done so far is just pressing the button twice to get the four better RB-74's to go off first and the two not so good RB-24 last.
  
  
  • I cannot get the key bind to work, is it really the "IR FRAMSTEGN - Down"-bind?
    
  • I do not get the flashing indication showing which missile is currently selected. I am trying TAKT -> OUT + Unsafe.
