I need training on the INS of the Mirage. Full spectrum. Alignment, updating while in air, bombing and waypoint navigation. I have watched youtube videos, read Chucks guides and I am still having problems. A quick 15-20 minute flight would probably solve this for me. The INS in the Mirage currently for me essentially does nothing but make navigation and bombing worse. I just need to see the workflow of pilots that use this successfully.

@jojo Interesting first time I have seen it but to be fair I only have about 150 hours in the Mirage.

Had this same exact issue yesterday while on MP Server. I was trying to track down some AI F15's. Was at co altitude head on. ${1}

I have been playing around with the Mirage 2000 and was at FL500 the other day going mach 2.3. Today I wanted to do the same thing and could only get to mach .097 at FL500 despite throttle being in the same position. Any reason this might be happening. Same exact loadout. When I told my AI wingmen to engage bandits they immediately broke our formation and accelerated to a speed I could not achieve. TIA

Thanks. It shows I have 0 active licenses. I use steam though so not sure if that matters. I have the F5, M2000, F18, FC3 and a couple other campaigns that all work fine. Weird.

Lastly I can open the campaign in the campaign builder and edit, etc.

Also I cannot open the missions or see them in the mission editor even though I can view the .miz files in file explorer

Thanks for the quick replay. Tried validating the game files. That didn't work. I just reinstalled the campaign as well and it's still not showing up. Funny enough I also purchased your F18 BFM campaign and it's not showing up either. Anything else to try?

It's not so much specific issues as the having to stop playing, look up my problem and then go back and try again. Having direct instruction while playing is a much faster and better training experience.

Super helpful thank you. For some reason after restarting DCS and restarting the mission everything lined up. I knew basic navigation principles and was able to do other missions with other planes that required navigating to waypoints. For some reason this mission wasn't working at the the time. One note is I wasn't expecting the F15 autopilot to navigate to waypoints but I was expecting to hold altitude or attitude but it definitely doesn't do either. This is across all missions and multiplayer.

I am having a hard time navigating to waypoints with the F15. I purchased the Georgian War campaign and on the first mission I am having the following problems. 1. Can't change waypoints 2. ADI and HSI disagree but neither guide me to the waypoint or the route 3. Line in Hud doesn't seem to do anything. Its always off to the left side even if I am on route to waypoint or off route. 4. Asked Wingman to navigate to route. While he gets on route, the HSI shows we are off route even though Kneeboard clearly shows we are perfectly en route. 5. Once on route to waypoint autopilot wont hold course. Super frustrating as I can't seem to figure out what I am doing wrong.

Will do. Had some issues with SRS. Once I reinstalled I was able to get it to work.

If there is a squadron I'm all in. Patreon, etc. Just need to know where. Plus M2000 issues with Razbam? Is this a financial issue? Someone let me know. Maybe I can help? DM me. Interested in the investment side of this.

Thanks gents! Appreciate the links. While those are helpful having direct instructor feedback without having to stop and read something is something I find invaluable. After all to get a pilots license the classroom study is first and then flights with your instructor. I am ready for flights with an instructor as this point to hone my skills. Again happy to pay for peoples time!

Hi All, I have been playing DCS world for a couple months. Started with FC3, purchased the F5 (which I love) and decided to get the M2000 as I always loved it when I was younger. I thought the M2000 would be a good step up from the F5 and then I could move on to something more complex like the F14/F18/F16 but I am having a lot of trouble with it and it's workflow. I've read some of manual, done most of the training missions and most of Chuck's guide as well but it seems like none of them are 100% accurate or I am doing things wrong. At any rate have a lot of questions that I am sure could be answered fairly quickly form an instructor flight in DCS. Happy to pay via Venmo or whatever for someone's time. Appreciate any help!
