  1. Sweeeet!!! THX for the quick reply! ...and the answer is: DCS: NEVADA Test and Training Range map is being enhanced with the addition of: Tonopah Air Force Base New casino/hotels in the Las Vegas strip A number of airfields and landing strips in the central (detailed) portion of the map The National Training Center (NTC) Improved grass and ground clutter Plus a host of minor improvements
  2. Has anyone heard if any future active airports are being planned for the Nevada Map?
  3. Package recieved!!! I'm very happy to report that I've recieved a replacement BS DVD and I'm up and flying again... :joystick: Many thanks to the whole ED Team for honoring my request and making me a very satisfied customer.:) Looking forward to future purchases and hours of flight-sim entertainment. <S> yendor
  4. I appreciate your attention, EtherealN. 1. No, not Comcast... My ISP is Knology, a reliable high-speed Clearwater/St. Pete/Tampa provider. It's still the weekend, so maybe by mid-week I'll get a reply. :music_whistling: 2. Unfortunately, I bought the BS DVD at a EBGames/GameStop retail store in Clearwater Mall on a giftcard on 12/13/2009, so I can't even do a regular credit card lookup. :( I'll gladly ship the retail box with damaged DVD to where-ever necessary as "proof of purchase"... it's of no practical use to me now anyway. I would have burned an .ISO of the disk for backup, but I only had a CD Burner and the (apparently defective) DVD player. A new SATA DVD Burner was one of the pieces of hardware I purchased after I did the Starforce de-activation. I'm a pretty patient guy, as evidenced by my long history with the whole line of LOMAC products :megalol:, and I have faith that things will turn out fine in the end. I will post the eventual outcome here.
  5. I've emailed technical support directly and am waiting for some reply from them, and I posted this in the "Problems & Bugs" forum and was directed to post here also. So once again, here's my story: I purchased the retail DVD of DCS:Black Shark in December 2009 and successfully installed, activated, patched and began learning/playing this truely amazing sim. Then, about a month ago, I de-activated the game so that I could do some sorely needed hardware upgrades; SATA HD, SATA DVD, mo'RAM, etc... I'm now at the point where I'm ready to re-install BS and I get the following message during setup: Installer integrity check has failed. Common causes include incomplete download and damaged media. Contact the installer's author to obtain a new copy. More information at: http://nsis.sf.net/NSIS_Error I ejected the DVD, and to my horror I discover an ugly circular gash about midway on the disk! My old DVD player has taken slice out of my new favorite game. Please tell me that there's somewhere I can send the damaged disk in for a replacement. I can also ccut out and provide the PC BLACK SHARK REG CODE from the retail box and print out the Hardware Code I recieved from Starfoce when I de-activated the product. Any help from ED/DCS to resolve this problem would be greatly appreciated. :helpsmilie: yendor
  6. Roger that.... & Thanks!
  7. :helpsmilie: OK... it's been a few days now. I'm officially appealing to any Moderator or someone from the ED Team to provide some sort of direction and/or help with replacing a damaged DVD. Yes, it worked flawlessly for 3 months... and yes, I've since replaced the old DVD player with a new one. I also successfully de-activated the installation with Starforce. Please read opening post on this thread for more information or send a PM. Thanks.
  8. .. arrrrgh .. .. you had me going there for a minute. Hopefully a Moderator will pop in with a happy solution for me in a day or two. :music_whistling:
  9. That sounds great! My DATA1.cab is intact, along with everything else on the DVD, except for the Setup.exe file. Exactly what " new Lockon website" are you talking about?
