  1. The startup training mission goes along if you press the ENT button on the UFC (upfront controller) once its done with its BIT (built in test)

Hello, i remember having a setting changed in a file that would remove the feature that rotated the cockpit for you when you were banking, that is, if you banked left for example it "counter banked" it, i want to remove that feature again, so that the cockpit remains aligned to the screen, rather then semi-aligning itself to stay on level with the ground. This, is ofc since i have headtracking with can tilt the cockpit sideways for me if i want. I'v searched the forum but i have not been able to find this again im afraid. So i hope im not upsetting any of the forum gods :lol:
  3. Now now eddie, dont such a mood killer, it COULD be physicaly possible, .. err its just a question about how strong you can make your turbofans, (as in not turbo shafts). The possibility to lock the main rotor would also be needed, and thrustvectoring for when the main rotor spools up after descending into subsonic speed, or spools down before the rotortips enter transonic speed.. err.. .. on the other hand, lets not build one of those :) I love how thy break the whole thing with the one of the first spoken lines in the pilot (first) episode: "A mach 1+ attack... " aww :( It was so much cooler before you had the helicopter aerodynics course

  5. Yeah i mean costum missions ofc, updating original post, maps would be cool to see to, though id rather have more well done missions instead of new maps, atleast for now :)

It would be cool if there were a place for some custom maps on the DCS homepage, like, if theres a weekly/montly competition on the community for uploaded missions / maps (single/multiplayer), and the winner would be featured on the DCS main page with a short map description attached, so what do you guys think about that? :) (Edit, i realised i posted this in general rather than maps/campaigns section, also, i mean a more official place for the "greatest rated" and not just, map spam :P) (Edit, again: For clearification, im talking about costum missions, and not maps, my bad, though if someone puts the work in and makes a map i guess that would be cool aswell, ;))
  7. Hello, im running on a fairly good computer, but im having some issues with lowered framerate when theres alot of dead ground targets/destroyed buildings on the screen. My guess is either that the smoke particle effect is soaking up alot of cpu if it dosnt use shaders, or that the amounts of lights being lit by all the burning piles makes the game slow down.
