Eagle Dynamics please provide a new Lua Reference for DCS World

Hello Eagle Dynamics

Can you please supply an up to date Lua reference manual for DCS World. The information you provide at http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/dev_journal/lua-export/ is out of date.

I want to write a program that controls a full motion simulator. The simulator is already built and works. Originally it was built to work with IL-2 and X-Plane. I would now like to get it working with DCS.

The Lua reference needs to cover how to extract telemetry and if there is an example script I could use.

A list of all of command functions is also needed.

A description of the core Lua scripts used by DCS World would also be helpful.

I trust Eagle Dynamics will provide a new reference manual for Lua.

Would anyone in the DCS community like to comment on this request?

I am happy to learn Lua and re-learn C to write what I need to get the motion simulator to work. I just don't know which Lua scripts, in DCS World, I should be looking at to start with.

I have already written some of the C code that moves the servos which move the pneumatic rams that provide movement to the simulator. I just need to learn Lua and write scripts which run the C functions and embed them into DCS.

Once I have the simulator working I will provide more information about it. This motion simulator would cost less than £1000 to build and utilises the Akers and Barnes design.

Which script gets run every frame in a mission?

Any positive feedback will be welcome.

Motion Platform

This information would be great to drive my motion platform. At present it works with IL-2, but I would love to use it with DCS World. I hope someone can help. Loving the P-51.
