Bug in Stennis Hornets and AI JTAC.

I have just spent two days trying to work out why I could not get radio contact with AI JTAC on the Gulf map with a training mission for AGM65Es' by a Hornet flown from the Stennis in multiplayer.

First I downloaded Wags' Maverick mission tutorial and faithfully copied his AI JTAC routine on to my mission. To no avail, I just couldn't get in contact.

In the end, out of pure frustration, I plonked a Hornet down on a friendly land base (Kahsab) and lo and behold, it all worked perfectly.

Any ideas why?

Edit 1:

The AI JTAC will work with a multiplayer mission only if it is accessed within the ME to test the mission out (green arrow - left hand side menu).

AI JTAC won't work in a multiplayer session using Hornets.

The good news:

Harriers will buddy lase in a MP session.
