Through satellite images we have detected the arrival of 3 "kilo" diesel submarines to the port of Novorossiysk, in the middle of enemy territory.

It is the first time that we have detected the presence of Russian submarines in ports close to the territory in conflict, we presume that it may be a consequence of maintenance or breakdowns that require urgent attention.

The weak air defenses available at the port of Novorossiysk presents us with an invaluable opportunity to destroy the submarines that are fully exposed, but after their arrival, several warships with powerful antiaircraft systems have been incorporated to serve as temporary coverage.

The high command has decided that the opportunity is very valuable, the attack will be made early in the morning.

THREATS:

The city of Novorossiysk does not have (at least at present) important anti-aircraft systems, normally entrusts its protection to S-300 located in the periphery (north) and to warships that regularly make presence in the port. Currently 2 warships are present in the area (south-west) with powerful defensive systems. In addition, an old SA-3 system defends the area at the bay.

The presence of some AAA artillery points and MANPADs is anticipated in limited quantities.

PRIMARY: Our main objective (ALPHA) is to destroy 3 submarines stationed in the port of Novorossiysk, in addition to destroying the maintenance workshop that assists them (BRAVO).

SECONDARY (Optional): Secondary but important objectives for the success of the mission are to destroy or disable the anti-aircraft system (CHARLIE) installed at the bay in front of the dockyard. It is also important to damage or destroy the Mig-29 established in the airport (DELTA) since they could take off during operations and represent risk to the mission.

MISSION OBJECTIVES:

- Destroy 3 submarines stationed in the port of Novorossiysk (ALPHA)

- Destroy the port workshop (BRAVO)

- Destroying or disabling the Mig-29s at the airport (DELTA) Optional.

- Destroy or disable the SA-3 installed at the bay (CHARLIE) Optional.

MISSION DATA:

- The area is surrounded by anti-aircraft systems of war cruisers (30 km/18 mi South) and S-300 systems in the city of Kryms (35 kms/21 mi North), a flight at low altitude is recommended to avoid threats.

- The anti-aircraft system established in the bay (SA-3) can not attack aircraft in low flight.

- The presence of limited AAA and MANPAD systems in the area is known.

- The possible arrival of enemy fighters coming from peripheral bases is not ruled out, the mission must be carried out quickly.

- Destroying the airfield track can be an effective option to prevent the takeoff of enemy fighters.
