thor363 Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Thread only for final pic received from Thrustmaster. For those fixing the 5 pin mini-DIN connector from the base up through the connector which is seen commonly severed from the factory (pick any thread where joystick buttons don't work or only some work, or various glitches in button presses while in flight and maneuvering). Note one large black is connected to the DIN side as ground.
jay43 Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 They are not disclosing the full truth as in the picture only 2 of those wires match the colour of mine for example that black one is green in mine there is no brown wire in mine or yellow. thor363 Posted February 5, 2014 Author Posted February 5, 2014 (edited) The only other variation I've seen is where they specify brown, it may be grey or purple, the other colors have been the same. Perhaps yours was factory repaired? This is the female mini-DIN 5 pin connector, not the male from the actual handle. This was a U.S. market item also. Not sure if they made a different batch and wiring in the U.K. If you need the color to actual pins on the cable so you can correlate them, just let me know. I'll try and help if I can.
