Toge Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Hi, As it still seems to be the case that PVI-800, UV-26 etc values can't be exported from lua scripts, I hacked together a tool to read the values straight from Black Shark memory and export via UDP. Check out https://bitbucket.org/tommi_hirvonen/black-shark-scanner This is just a quick proof of concept, but it seems to be working for PVI-800 at the moment. I'll continue with UV-26 etc other stuff, but I'd really like someone else to test this and tell me if this works for you too. There are some ugly assumptions and shortcuts in the code and I'd like this to work generally, not just on my setup. Feel free to use/modify the app/code in any way you like. 1
don_sangria Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Very nice! Thanks for sharing! This tool definately looks pretty usefull!! I also plan to display this values from the shark by 7 segment displays, as described by Devon Custard in his thread "exporting data to an arduino 101". (..have to admit that i am pretty much useless in coding and electronics and just started to read myself in...) Best Regards Adrian
Gadroc Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Nicely done! I'll try and test it out this weekend. Interested in trying the same technique for CMSP display in A-10.
predator-nz Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Good plan love to see it in action I have also been looking into this as well.
