FlightControl Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 (edited) Hi all, In a Multi-player setup, when i spawn new ground units using a script, the ground unit is spawned correctly, however ... 1. When i kill vehicles that were dynamically spawned (friendly or enemy), i get the message "killed building"..., where normally i would get the type of vehicle that i killed. 2. On the server i see the dynamically spawned vehicles driving with a dust trail behind the vehicles, but on the client side, they appear to be driving without a dust trail. 3. I cannot see on the map on the client side the vehicles that were dynamically spawned..., only on the server side. All other vehicles that were designed in the mission editor show normal behaviour. Another note, when i then exit the client, and log back into the server from the client side, the ground units that were dynamically spawned, appear in the map... I am using MIST, but i believe MIST is not the root cause of this. Any idea? It is quite annoying, because if players enter the mission, they won't see the dynamically spawned units on the map. And the experience is also less, as the vehicles don't show smoke. FlightControl Posted May 5, 2014 Author Posted May 5, 2014 In version 1.2.8 these problems have more or less been resolved. However, now i get in 1.2.8 an error is an air unit is destroyed.
