How to setup the game and mission options so the game becomes hardcore realistic in terms of recon and tactical information?

What I would like is to have the game preconfigured so that when I play an autogenerated mission, I would have the same tactical information that a real pilot would have.

So far I have this:

1. Turning off labels in options removes the labels in the 3d screen.

2. When starting an autogenerated mission, or any I made myself, the enemy units show as UNI XX with a blue circle around them, whichI assume is radar coverage. Is that information gameplay or something a real pilot would have?

3. What settings should I adjust so the f10 map only shows "realistic" information about enemy locations. (I plan to go f10 map completely off, once I figure the abris stuff out)

for #2, I know that the ABRISS does have capability to load in known/suspected unit positions. From experimentation, I believe that the blue circle around an enemy unit on ABRISS indicates everything in that unit's line of sight at your current altitude. IE: if you are in a blue region, you are not masked by terrain from the position of the enemy.

These points definitely do NOT track movement of enemy units, the merely represent information available at mission start. Real pilot would have this, accuracy dependent upon quality of intel.

I usually keep F10 enemy unit display available as a backup to compensate for the fact that most mission briefs in this sim are woefully incomplete.

I have the F10 view set to map only. I would love to have the option to see the map state from the briefing (just my waypoints and the initial position of the units that weren't hidden by the mission designer), but since that's not possible, I turn everything off. It's closest to "hardcore realistic" and makes navigating extra challenging and fun. Maybe not so much in the Ka-50, with its ABRIS and PVI800, but you have to pay attention when flying my favorite Mi-8.

As for making the autogenerated missions more realistic, you can't do much more. My main problem with them is, none of the enemy units are hidden in the mission planner, so you always get the full picture of the situation, that you would never have in "real life".
