sackman
Read a lot and found some Su25 u tube vids on Su25 and CCRP bombing (use FAB 250's) but for the life of me I cannot get the gun reticle to show up on the weapon screen. I tried altitude, speed, angle of attack but no joy...a small section will show up when I get much too close to the target but never long enough to do anything with it. The manual and u tube vids make it look so easy. What am I doing wrong. The reticle does show up when I dive bomb on the target CCIP.
Zabuzard
I assume you're flying the Su-25 and not the Su-25T (the HUD symbology is very different) Watch this video: What exactly is different?
lmp
Did you put the sight in the low position (I think the key combination is ALT + H or CTRL + H)?
sackman
It is the Su 25 NOT the 25T. The video is great but I just dont see the reticle at all. It is buried below the the weapon screen (ie pseudo Hud on the Su25). It doesnt appear until I am at tree top level and I can only use CCIP bombing. sackman
Did you put the sight in the low position (I think the key combination is ALT + H or CTRL + H)? Cant find any keystroke that indicates "put the sight in lower position" only hud color, Rctrl +H.
sackman
Heres the video I was watching and if I copied this type of target approach for CCRP my reticle is just not there...it is below the weapon screen and I have to dive further to just about see it, then I'm dead. number3
What speed are you starting your approach and your altitude? The higher your speed and the lower your altitude, the more likely you will see the reticle without having to adjust the HUD glass. 314-я смешанная авиационная дивизия 314th Mixed Aviation Division: The "Fighting Lemmings"- Forums: http://314thsquadron.enjin.com/ - ED Forum Group: http://forums.eagle.ru/group.php?groupid=

I also tried the bridge target video on other stationary targets from higher/medium altitude and no joy. I can only do a CCIP run on anything I try but not CCRP. I reloaded world and the modules twice...I also tried the repair file but no change. This looks and feels like a 'bug' (on my system at least). At the really low altitudes the reticle will come up and go down intermittently at a fast pace. Ive taken it down to the red light warning for blast zone. All else seems fine with other aircraft. Ok, I'm back home so I could check it in the game. The keys are RALT+H to "Lower ASP-17 Glass" and RSHIFT+H to "Raise the ASP-17 Glass". Tapping the keys a few times will tilt the ASP-17 gun sight either to the back, low position for bombs or front, up position for rockets and guns. In the low position, the reticle should be clearly visible when using bombs as long as you have the laser on. The video you posted is from an earlier version of the game, without the new 6 DOF cockpit. Back then, you didn't have to move the glass down to use bombs effectively. I thought I added all to the new key changes to my older SU 25 keyboard list, I missed these. Thank You for your response....I guess it is also in the Manual as well, right.. Thanks Again! PS..Just now found it in the Change Log...Have to read these more carefully. Edited March 22, 2014 by sackman

hvymtal
I think you need to turn on the laser and designate the target. Ima look at the tutorial again to see if you need to hold the trigger like with the T EDIT: NVM he has fixed your woes. I never found raising and lowering the glass to be useful, but i might try now My Logitech Extreme3D Pro "Essentials" Profiles for FC3 and 25T: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/599930/ Thrustmaster T.16000M, TWCS FC3, F-5E, M2000C, AJS-37, C-101, F-14, NTTR
