Exhaust deflector

Not sure if I am using the right term but basically I am talking about the peice of angled pipe that deflects the jet exhaust up into the rotor wash. I noticed in some videos that this particular thing sometimes is missing but every mission I build seems to have that there. How do I get rid of it? I have even tried making the chopper 'slick' with no armaments or gunsights but I always have that thing there. I assume it is a setting somewhere in the mission build but I cannot seem to be able to find it.
