I installed DCSW and FC3 version 1.2.8.27915. I have a problem in the Su-27 cockpit. The first screenshot is the "Center view" of the cockpit , i.e. what I get when the mission starts and when I press the numpad-5. the second screenshot is the closest thing to the instruments panel i can get.

I tried to uninstall, reinstall, repair, disable TrackIR with no effect. It is occuring in the Su-27 only, the rest of planes are working well. Any thoughts?

Thanks,,,

Have you accidentally set some custom snapviews (which I think wold survive an uninstall/install/repair)?

Does TIR work at all, or are those different snapviews ?

I don't understand how you get from the first view to the second without going through some point that has a normal view - If you take off your TIR hat and use the keystrokes to move the POV & the mouse to look around, does that work ?

Cheers.

I didn't create any custom snap views, not in this version nor the past. for the TrackIR, i disabled it completely from windows, the change from view 1 to view 2 was done using the keypad only.

in other posts someone mentioned that a lua script might have something to do. i didn't use lua as well, but if someone can tell me what lua script file to look at, if it can help.

Thanks,,

Problem solved:thumbup:.

I compared the attached files to the files in "c:\program files\eagle dynamics\DCS world\Config\View" and they were identical. Then I compared the attached SnapViewDefaults.LUA to the file SnapViews.LUA in "c:\users\user profile\saved games\DCS\config\views" and they were different. I replaced the content of SnapViews.LUA with the attached SnapViewDefaults.LUA and it worked fine.

Thanks a lot guys. now it is time to :joystick::pilotfly::D

You might want to check what the key combination to create custom snapviews is, to make suer you don't inadvertantly have the same problem in the future ;)

Cheers.
