Blade_meister Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Well, I love the FW190, but my Takeoff/Landing to crash ratio has been rather embarrassing(about 97% crashes, is my guess:helpsmilie:), so, on my day off I have decided to do some trial and error testing. 1. Updated drivers for Saitek Pro Flight Pedals. 2. Made sure takeoff assist was at 0 and unchecked Rudder assist. 3. Went in Win_7 Control Panel and checked responses and set up Deadzones. This is where I saw a problem. My Toe Brakes were so sensitive that when I was applying Rudder, I was actually Toe Braking on that side also. Well the Deadzone adjustment wasn't doing what I needed, so, I left my usual Deadzone adjustment here and into DCS I went. Picture, 1 4. I Went into DCS Options and started adjusting for toe brakes and the rudder Pictures, 2,3,4, 5. I use a Thrustmaster T16000m(an excellent stick for 39.99 at Frys: free shipping) so I included my curves for it also. Pictures, 5, 6, My Takeoff/Landing to Crash ratio is 3 to 1, and I have only tried 3 attempts since these adjustments. By this evening I may even be semi proficient at this.:megalol: Anyway I hope this helps anyone using Saitek Rudders because my frustration was building rather quickly, but now I am starting to enjoy the Dora for the Fast Climbing/ Fast Diving Beast that she is!:pilotfly:I also attached a Track File of some of my mishaps and a couple of successful Takeoffs/Landings. If you let it play without changing views you can see the In Cock Pit control Inputs in the lower left corner. Some of it is pretty Comical. S!Blade<><DCS FW-190 D-9_3_Successful_TO&LND.rar
