TheElectricMonk Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Has anyone here been able to successfully use a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro with A-10C and/or Black Shark? The joystick is recognized in the control mapping screen, but I can't get it to let me map the buttons (or that wimpy throttle lever). I'd love to get a Thrustmaster Warthog, but $460 is out of my price range at the moment. I don't mind having to use the keyboard in conjunction with the joystick, but I'm having a difficult time getting the stick to work properly. I know the stick isn't faulty, since it works fine in DOSBox with Tie Fighter, Strike Commander, etc... Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, since the A-10 is my favorite plane of all time. Thank you in advance.
Tumbleweed Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 I had one of these prior to upgrading to my x52 and had no trouble getting it to work with DCS. Should just be plug and play (inc installing the driver(s)). As mentioned above, make sure you tune the axis - especially the twist rudder input as it's very sensitive and will kick the aircraft around quite badly. Had mine for about a year and it never let me down. I recently gave mine to a friend so that he could start using DCS. I'm sorry I'm not clued up enough with DCS to offer more advice. Mine just sort of worked. Hope you get it sorted though. I know how frustrating it can be when something doesn't work like it's supposed to. My Hangar: P-51D Mustang - KA-50 Blackshark - A-10C Warthog - F-86F Sabre - FC3 - Combined Arms - UH-1H My Flying Adventures: www.dcs-pilot.com :pilotfly:
