Hi Everybody,

First I would like to introduce myself;

My name is Tom, I live in the Netherlands.

I have a basic understanding of electronics. Don't know anything about

programming though.

Know my way around a CNC mill, converted my proxxon MF70 using a Pokeys56u card.

Just to learn the CNC concept and using CAD/CAM.

I recently started combat simming again after many years.

For that purpose I bought a TM HOTAS WH set and I'm using a 2 monitor setup,

using HELIOS and a modified version of Loz's profile. Working beautifully!

Now that I've cought the virus, I'd like to start my own cockpit project.

I've been reading up on the cockpit building threads the last couple of weeks,

I figured out that Helios is a nice piece of software. Then there is the other

software " hogkeys" , but the last thread/post I found on this subject was dated

a year ago. So don't kow if that is still alive...

But unfortunately I can't seem to figure out what I/O componts work with the

HELIOS Software.

The manual isn't very clear either, neither are the threads that I've been reading.

Before I begin work on a cockpit, I would like to have the I/O figured out,

so I don't have to change direction with respect to hardware and I/O issues.

So my question really is:

Is there a clear overview of what best to use with HELIOS for I/O solution.

As I mentioned earlier, I used the pokeys card to interface my CNC to mach3.

So I am familiar with pokeys (not programming stuff for it).

I do like the fact that I have so many I/O possibilities with this card.

Pricing isn't so much of an issue.

Is there anyone using pokeys cards and willing to explain this to me or have an example

of how to get a pokeys56u to talk with DCS?

I hope some one can help me out.

Thanks in advance.

Greetz,

Tom
