Jay43, yes, I have Helios working with Loz's profile; it displays no problem etc. all the testing I have done has been without Helios running; need the screen blank to see if I'm exporting at all. I am thinking there is something major happening. Can DCS not handle a combined resolution of 4480x1600? Is that the problem? But I will do as suggested; start from scratch and go from there. Pls stand by.

Thanks to all for helping.

No i have had a bigger resolution than that before and it worked so its not that although i will as far as to say reduce the size if you can cause at that size the FPS will be unbearable.

If you have access to a TS channel i could jump in and help talk you through its much easier than going back an forth here in the forum.

Eagles may soar high but weasel's don't get sucked into jet engines.

Jay43, thanks very much. I'm sorry to say I don't have TS on...never used it. Perhaps I should... As you say, better than going back and forth. Anyway, I'm going to start from scratch, start small again and report back. Pls stand by.

apoll- do you have Skype ? if so I can also talk you through the setup and config of all this with the advantage that

a:- Skype is free

b:-Skype allows screen sharing which I think will be absolutely necessary to guide you through this process

There are a great many factors involved in getting you up and running but just guessing at your screen configuration and monitor placement just wont cut it. there are also a few small utilities I feel are indispensable for setups such as this. some of these are NotePad++, MouseLoc.exe, PixelWindow, and lastly Desktop Restore for saving your desktop icon positions and then putting them back when your inevitable screen res changes screw up your whole desktop. Do not give up hope. your export can be achieved with the right export files and monitor config lua's and especially the proper export.lua (and not the one that is part of helios since that one is hopelessly out of date.)

TonyZ, thank you very much. But no...not even Skype. I know...really should get into the 21st century. I think what I'll do is go through a full reinstall..and go step by step from there. So there is some work for me to do first. Then I will repost with results and take it from there. Thanks very much for your offer. Pls stand by.
