X-52 loses mapped settings

I've have a Saitek x-52 Pro for several years now. Every now and then, ever since I've had it, it seems to lose (or forget) some mapped keystrokes every now and then, requiring remapping. It will work fine for a few days, or whatever, then it loses the information again. Anyone had a similar issue?

Only time I've had it lose mappings is when changing USB ports. That causes windows to create a new ID and DCS doesn't recognize it.

 

I do not have anything set up in the SST software except the speedbrake on the slider so if your using the SST for all the mappings no help there.
