ADF, R-828, R-800 L1, radio help

I am bit confused with the different radio systems.

1) page 6-70 ( manual), ADF ARK-22, there is a compass channel dial. I select the channel from the list of channels on the right side wall of the cockpit. so I am using the correct airfield inner outer beacons. correct ?

 

2) Then on page 6-74 there is the R-828 radio control panel. there is a channel selector. with channels 1 through 10. How do I know which channel to choose? what does this dial do ? Is it set up by the game automatically ? Do I need to change it ?

 

3) Then on page 6-100 there is the R-800L1 VHF. I understand this is used to communicate with other airborne units. do I need to change the frequency ? is it set up by the game automatically ? how do I know what frequency to dial in ?

 

any other advice would be greatly appreciated.
