timone1002 Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Hello, i was just watching some videos of fighter pilots ejecting, and i found out, quite logically that ejecting at high speed 600 knots+ can be fatal, i was watching a video about a pilot that was training in an f15 with a co pilot and got disoriented and was flying straight down towards the ocean at over 600 knots, and ejected, he survived but it ruptured all the blood vessels in his face, broke both his legs and one of his arms from the wind pressure and his copilot did not survive. I think it would be good to add that to the game for realism, where if you attempt to eject at high speed it can be fatal. Heres a link to the video if anyone is interested
Random Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Not a bad idea... I'd add making canopies and pilots collidable. Ejecting below the speed stated in the pilots notes possibly leading to a bump on the head!
T_A Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Generally speaking , ejection isn't a guarantee to walk away from a crash. You could die or get hurt from so many thing in the process.
