Spt Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Since the last update all aircrafts show the standard pressure on altimeter setting (1013 / 2992) instead of QNH ( pressure at sea level ) at the beginning of mission, and now you can set the pressure in all aircrafts except Mig29 and F-15C. So when you play a mission with dynamic weather the pressure is not the same in all map, in F-15C there is no altimeter-probe, or it's not functionnal since FC3 whereas Mig29 got it. This is the situation. Now for F-15C when you fly in IMC (Instrumental Meteorological Conditions) , in clouds, you have no idea of distance between your plane and ground :( So it becomes very unsafe to fly in this conditions ! Now there is no more an "all weather fighter aircraft" ;) Maybe you will expect to put new keyboard entry to set the altimeter or display in HUD the altimeter probe, so we are waiting the next update with this problem solution :) Sorry for my poor english, I hope you will understand my problem ;) ++ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Spt Posted November 21, 2014 Author Posted November 21, 2014 Some screenshots to explain ( all pics on ground ) : F15 with static weather : ..with dynamic weather : Mig29G with static (and the correct pressure set should be 1013 instead of 1031) : ..with dynamic : there is the same problem in A10-A with static : ...with dynamic : And now the A10-A in flight with dynamic weather the altimeter instrument doesn't match the altitude on HUD ( one at standard pressure 2992 and the hud at QNH ): Note that the A10-A and all Mig29 have got a functional radar altimeter so you can fly in clouds but for the Eagle it's still a problem ! thanks ++ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
plhought Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Hmmmm. I see what you are getting at - you can no longer adjust altimeter setting? :pilotfly:i7 7700K, GTX1660, 32 Gig-o-ram, Win 7.
Spt Posted November 25, 2014 Author Posted November 25, 2014 No altimeter setting + no radar altimeter So in clouds or fog it's very unsafe ! You can't know where is the ground !! ++ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Spt Posted October 22, 2015 Author Posted October 22, 2015 No news about altimeter setting for F-15C with 1.5 version :( Now we have a bingo setting but no altimeter ! Please ED or Belsimtek could you make this feature like Suxx, one button to increase and another to decrease pressure ? Many thanks ;) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
