freestalker Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Hello everyone, me and my friend are looking for a functioning EU squad. We have a history from Falcon 4: Allied Forces, FreeFalcon and DCS. We have several DCS modules, my friend flies mainly A10C, but also has Black Shark. I have A10C, CA and FC3. I enjoy flying A10C with him, but sometime I switch to Su27 or F15 (or Su25 if there're annoying radar sites). We are open also to PvP action, too, and not only PvAI. We both live in Europe (the Netherlands), have a mic, HOTAS Warthog and IR head tracking. I am planning to get pedals sometime soon so I can try some choppers. We're looking for a group that we could fly with on a regular basis, in organized wings and operations, also looking for training sessions so we can gain some invaluable knowledge from more experienced pilots that's hard to learn by 'just flying' alone or in pair. Preferably a squad that doesn't fly A10C only, but is also open to other aircrafts. Is anyone like that out there? :) Cheers, freestalker
9JG54_Stray Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 (edited) Hey I am sure this thread will be full of propositions of flying together, but I will start. I represent 9./JG54, we are veterans of IL-2 series. Only recently we got seriously interested in DCS. There's only two of us flying DCS at the moment, but we are both European ( Polish/Finnish ), we have our own TS3 server and website and we fly every Friday and Saturday from 8pm CET until 2-3 am. I own FC3 and CA while my wingman has pretty much everything. I shall be getting A-10C later in December. I get my kicks from flying Su-25T and will gradually switch to new aircraft ( I really like to learn all aspects of all A/C before I get to select my favourite one ). We are both professionals in real life aged nearly 30 and nearly 40 ( oh sheeeeeeet.... ). We fly in relaxed and friendly atmosphere for a long while now. For Il-2 series we have created a fully operational list of awards and prerequisites to get one or be promoted. We intend to incorporate it in DCS for our purposes, soon. Nearly forgot: I am capable of hosting games and we are into skinning and mission building, too. I got my wingman, looks like you got yours. Maybe we could create a wing out of the four of us, who knows. If you're looking to join our tiny unit or just try flying with us prior to making your call ( makes sense anyway ), give me a shout here or visit our site www.9-jg54.proboards.com Edited December 1, 2014 by 9JG54_Stray typo
NeilWillis Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Take a look at RAF Air. We're a growing group of dedicated fliers, and currently fly principally with the A-10C, but with freedom to fly whatever DCS module you like on non flight nights - which are Tuesdays and Thursdays. There are 2 active squadrons, plus a third for training and flying opposition forces. We're UK based, and have a dedicated server running 24/7. Non-members are welcome to join us there - links can be found on our website. http://www.rafairuk.co.uk
runny Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 (edited) Why not check out the savage 77th? Our flight element structure is perfect for guys who join as a "sub-group". We're semi-competitive, focus on fun and maturity over realism. http://www.s77th.com http://www.s77th.com/Aboutus.php Edited December 2, 2014 by runny
