Roger Ramjet Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 In A10C (I`m not sure for other modules) when we order our AI wingman to attack a target we can specify which weapon to use, and direction of the attack - and that`s great. But as we all know the AI is dumb - so when, for example - we`re ordering the wingman to attack for example ZU23 with bombs, he happily commits suicidal bombing dive straight at AAA barrels... We could fix the problem by spcifying a hard deck for the attack ( the altitude he can`t go beyond, no matter what) - so he would relase his bombs above threat`s range. He can miss but won`t be shot down by aaa/manpads . P.S. If the subject was discussed before - sorry - i couldn`t find it by the search function. 1 Excuse my English, please.

RAZBAM_ELMO Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Unfortunately AI isn't getting worked on till after DCSW2 comes out. I would too love to see some improvement to the AI side of the game as well as player to player ( i.e UHF and VHF communications in multiplayer) alas for the good we shall have to wait.
