MP - K4 sounds continue after shut-down

Observation:

 

When flying MP today on the Virtual Aerobatics (VA) server I noticed that when a fellow player and I shut down our engines on the apron, one (or both) of the planes were still producing a lot of noise in 3rd person view (not 1st). Is this a known issue?
