from goggling i found no good results but IT DOES WORK AND HERE IS HOW YOU DO IT: first we have three pcs

gameRig - my rig

mediaPC - in living room with big ass HDTV and super nice couches

laptop - not necessary needed but i will explain

Steam in home stream will allow you to stream from your rig to any computer that can run steam and sens the local mouse and keyboard back. we just have to send the controller back.

so you will need some type of usb forwarding software:

http://usbip.sourceforge.net/[2 usbip is a free linux solution but i never got it to work. if some one can please let me know this is the ideal solution.

http://www.incentivespro.com/usb-redirector.html[3 usb redirector cost money but you can use a trial licence for a short while. and it does work. i don’t like that it costs money. but it is what i used.

load the usb server either usbipd or usb redirect on laptop and plug in your controller setup (must be usb, and the laptop does NOT need the driver for the controller installed.) then load the sever program and share the usb device through your net work.

walk (or remote desktop, but remote has some issues) over to your rig and load the USBIP or usb redirect client. enter your laptop’s ip address and then add the shared devices.

make sure rig is running steam. then go to media pc, start steam, it should notice rig and give you the stream option. the mouse and keyboard from media pc will work over the network and your controller will run through laptop and work on your rig. alternatively you can run all input devices from laptop or you can just foprard the controller through media pc (eliminating laptop).

hope this was useful.

side note DCS is really unstable after closing. you can start it once and that is it. you have to restart both computers after exiting the game or you get a black screen.
