Helios issue

Hi all, actually I've this issue before but for the life of me I can't remember how I fixed it! I've been using Helios for a couple of years with mainly no problems so I kind of know how it works.

 

After a new ssd installation I've been having the problem where Helios loads the profile and it works in game without problems but it as soon as I click the Start button in Helios my second monitor then 'white's out' and this monitor that I use for exporting iControl CDU no longer works. And because it does this I can no longer use iControl! I have tried uninstalling and re-installing Helios and all of it's components without luck.

 

iControl incidentally works as it should without Helios

 

Any ideas?

Open the profile in the Profile Editor and edit the monitor that you have problems with. It's probably set to show a background color.

 

Sorry I don't have specific instructions (I am on my laptop right now), but I do remember there being a checkbox to untick in such a situation.

Fixed it, thanks. It must be a default setting on Monitor 1 to show a coloured background so you were correct- I just needed to uncheck it et voila.
