ANGST Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Jay messing around for the first time on the PFM su 27 today, and after going into the inverted stall, by pushing negative g, I am blacked out and can't do anything . No eject , no control inputs nothing, form 30,000 ft into the drink . Is that normal? Or should I be able to eject, or recover ?
OB1 Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 You pressed the magic button didn't you ? If you are travelling fast enough and invert hard enough with the help of the ASC direct control. The extreme negative g's makes your head explode, this is why you cannot recover. :) As to the 'is it normal'. Well yes and no, the modelling is not finished so you can't say its completely normal but even when they fix allot of the instability issues doesn't mean you can't make your head explode.
ANGST Posted January 9, 2015 Author Posted January 9, 2015 I pry the s key off my keyboard every time I fly the 27
nickexists Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 In my experience with the 27, just never do any negative G, you will pass out almost immediately. It seems like g limiter should prevent this though.
