I just did the campaign on the P-51 at the 2nd or 3rd mission we have to take off with a crosswind. I taxi and try to find the wind sock to know where the wind was from, well there is none. I've check for some kind of smoke, none. I decide to try my luck and I crash and again.

I read the wind direction on the briefing to apply the x-wind take off procedure with aileron into the wind...Again crash and crash:mad::mad::mad:

Frustrated and pissed of with an attitude. High from my 14K+ flying hours with a big ego, I didn't understand what was my problem. I decided to do a test and do the x-wind procedure inverted or the exact opposite if you prefer. Bingo.

The wind in DCS are given wrong. They are given in the direction that they are moving not in the direction the are coming.

In other words when the tower give you wind are 180 at 10 kts they are suppose to come from the south at 10 kts
