Stealth_HR Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 (edited) While making a spreadsheet for radio channels, frequencies and airports I noticed an oddity regarding the MiG-21bis radio channels and the mission editor. If I place an AWACS in the ME, its default frequency is 251 MHz, but it's changeable in the editor, so I can: set the AWACS on 150 MHz (MiG-21bis channel #1, Авария), or set the MiG-21bis' radio channels (say again, channel #1, Авария) to 251 MHz and I will be able to call it. On the other hand, if I place an EWR like the 1Л13 or 55Г6, I am unable to change its radio frequency. It's permanently stuck to 124 MHz which is, by default, both on channel #0 (Рабочий, the wing channel) and on channel #9 (used by AFB Krymsk). Is this intended? Should it really work that way in reality? I assume not, as each comm source (other than a wing internally) should have its own frequency channel. The first free frequency on the map is 142 MHz - can the EWR be pinned to that frequency? Alternatively, can it be pinned to 150 MHz which is already channel #1 (Авария)? I realize channel #1 is the emergency channel and the EWR isn't exactly the right person to talk to on emergency channels. :D Finally, is this even something you need to fix or is this more ED's domain? :music_whistling: Thanks! Spt Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 You can change EWR freq in advanced settings of waypoint ! So follow waypoint 0 then "advanced" set options, set frequency ;) ++ 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Stealth_HR Posted January 20, 2015 Author Posted January 20, 2015 I see it know - it's under "Advanced options" > "Perform Command" > "Set frequency". Much obliged! LNS, sorry to have reported an issue that turned out to be a PEBCAK! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Real men fly ground attack :pilotfly: where EVERYTHING wants a piece of you :D
