Hi all

dont know if any1 else has had or has this problem..

When i start up my helios profile then go in to a MP session, most of the buttons / switches / dials just go crazy, moving turning and switching all by them selves... Am running the latest version of Helios and have up to date drivers to..

Any1 got any advice,

Many thanks phil

You probably have a feedback loop. The simulation changes the switch, which causes helios to send the switch change back to the sim.

When you bind state from the sim to the switch. Make sure you check the checkbox that prevents the cascading triggers. I can't remember the exact wording on the screen right now. I'll have to look tonight.

It happens to me too occasionally (I am using Cap Loz' A-10C profile).

Usually it stops after a few seconds. If it doesn't, I stop the profile and start it again and that takes care of it.

I cannot remember a single occasion where it happened more than once per aircraft lifetime, so it's not a big deal.

It also always happens after getting into the plane or starting the profile, not in the middle of a flight.

I have the similar issue: Let me explain:

I use a modified version of LOZ A-10C Profile. With the "Anti Collision Switch" I have the following problem. When I switch this switch to the "up" position directly (!) from within the HELIOS profile, my A-10C properly blinks the Anti Collision Light, works as desired.

But, whenever I toggle that switch via its assigned keyboard-key (in my case "d"), HELIOS forces the "Anti Collision Switch" to flip back into down position within millieconds.

Any advice? I need to control this switch via keyboard as well.

The anti-collision switch is a magnetic toggle switch which will only stay on in certain situations. For helios you need to bind the toggle switch to both to position change and release actions.

Thanks, Gadroc. It has helped, somehow. It still feels like those "certain conditions" are checked within DCS and also within the Helios profile itself. That potentially brings something out of sync, from time to time. However, i can live the way it does work now.
