Weta43 Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 LOBS Beta version progress Prior to the release of 1.11 & 1.12 the Devs/Testers were posting when they received a new beta version of the patch & whether or not this version was a candidate for release. It didn’t tie them to a release date, but kept us feeling that things were moving forward, let us stop holding our breath when the versions weren’t considered release candidates & got us excited when they finally were. Any chance of either one of the Devs or the testers starting a sticky thread keeping us up to date with the same info on LOBS ? It might stop the repeated threads calling for a release date. Cheers.
ED Team Laivynas Posted April 18, 2006 ED Team Posted April 18, 2006 It IS moving. ;) Best Regards, Dmitry. "Чтобы дойти до цели, надо прежде всего идти." © О. Бальзак
S77th-konkussion Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 I seem to recall that the frequent updates were primarily about the relatively simple patches. Simple compared to an entire add on anyway. Maybe as they come down the home stretch they will increase. [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
Weta43 Posted April 18, 2006 Author Posted April 18, 2006 1.11 & 1.12 weren't that simple, but yes smaller than 1.10 or presumably 1.2 however I'm not saying updates need to be any more frequent than the beta releases. If those are infrequent then that's how fast things are moving. If they're frequent we know progress is at least being attempted & when they have a release candidate we'll know that we're within a few months. Cheers.
