hmm, I am not sure but, the way the canopy flies off if you hit the lever

makes me wonder where the heck it went, and anyone down range might want to duck. I mean heck, it must being doing 300MPH. all that while sitting in a field with bits of wing everywhere and an IAS of zero... that canopy must of been busting to leave ASAP.

Sure you didn't hit the emergency jettison lever? If you want to open the canopy the normal way, just use the hand crank below the right side of the canopy ;)

Effing heck. I got logged out AGAIN while composing a good reply. effit.

Blooming hit the lever while in a field.(counting daisies) Canopy flies off like it's going out of fashion. What in dear gods name is powering it??? Love?

sheesh. One more pilsesner for the road! mmmm, slurp...

Ok I was trying to land. You got me. Luckily the kite was free! (I have wreaked heaps so far..)

Yours Planktonhugger. :)

PS My instinctual reaction to carving rows in the fields of back of beyond is to EXIT the ship as soon as. Which means ripping of the lid and, just sitting there...

(in the other game I play I would be jumping into a ghillie suit and sprinting off with the SMLE ...) :)

PPS. I read the manual! I did! (RTFM) it says to get the effing phuk out of dodge when you "land" and your kite is on fire. (THE p-51 training manual) it even had pictures!

so yes. I did. hit the lever. Lord knows I had the best intent. but blow me down the lids screams off like it's on (insert theme of choice here) and away it went. gone. seeya.
