Rangoon Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 The DCS World manual states that this is the likelihood of a bird strike (not actual birds in 3D), but states that 100% would mean "real-world" likelihood. The slider shows no units, and goes to 1000. Is this a percentage? Does this mean that at 1000 there is a 10-times-greater-than-in-reality chance to have a bird strike at low level? Or does 1000 (full right) indicate 100%
Reaper6 Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 This adjust the probability of a bird strikes when flying at altitude below 200 meters. 100% is the realistic bird strike probability setting. 0% - no birds. 1000% - the bird strike probability multiplier 10 times. Rangoon Posted April 6, 2015 Author Posted April 6, 2015 Thanks. I've been flying around at 1000% all this time! :) Gonna change that right now.
