I have followed some directions on other threads. Making a profile is easy. My problem is that the throttle is not recognized. I have tried a number of thread fixes but they do not work. Any advise other than burning the X52. :helpsmilie:

try a different USB port, reinstall drivers, etc?

does it get recognized in windows? (you know the control panel?) if it does, can't you assign axis in lock on?

one hint.

when posting about bugs, POST your system configureation, we can't do miracles :P

Yes the Control Panel sees the throttle. In Falcon 4, USAF,Flight Combat Simulator2, Flight simulator 2004 it sees the Throttle.

Been around long enough to know you can't do miracles. Well maybe some times. If someone has an X52 with the throttle working and explain what Driver? That might be it. My driver is the one that comes with the unit for X52.

Thanks for answering.

OK problem mostly solved. For others with this problem.

You need to download new driver 3/16/06. Then the latest SST program. The main throttle does not work but the small slider controls throttle. Better than nothing.

Thanks for the help got me thinking.

Try to delete all corresponding .ini files in INPUT folder and check again if you can assign your throttle axis in LockOn options to well hmm throttle :)

edit: I'm using X-52 myself. No issues in LockOn.

thats really odd.

I have the X52 if you look @ my sig. I did not have any issues with lock on, in fact it already had it mapped when I launched the game.

-Do you have any other USB stuff attached with axis, etc? (lockon auto maps everything you have pluged in, and this can result in conflicts)

can you get it to map by manually going to the options, selecting from dropdown menu, then axis, then click on throttle then change and finally move it up and down and it should map?

lastly, what version of lockon are you using?

good luck, and dont worry, we'll get you up and running :)

Version 1.2. Very interesting. I'll reinstall LockOn later tonight. I could have gotten it wrong on first install. It had an older driver and sst when I installed the game the first time. Thanks for the help.

One thing I have noticed is that Lockon sets the Throttle control of the X-52 to the thumbslider on the side of the throttle handle as default. So you have to change this to the Z axis in the Lockon profile in Options.
