Assigning a button function problem.

I need some advise please on assigning a joystick button to function the weapon change on the SU 25T.

The sim has it defaulted to JOYSTICK 4 on my Warthog Joystick but I want to change it to JOYSTICK 3 simple.....well every time I CLEAR it in the Options menu and then ADD the new button as JOYSTICK 3 and OK it, the next time I load up the game it has gone back to JOYSTICK 4 :joystick:

Im sure we used to be able to make changes to these and the game would save it.

I've not played the game in a while so Im thinking I may have just forgotten how to do it or there has been an update that has changed it.

Please advise me, kind people.
