GriffonBR Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Hi fellas I bought one Thrustmaster Cougar TQS and ordered a TUSBA cause I'm tired to fly with my CH Pro Throttle with no rotaries and I've already have the Thrustmaster Warthog stick and the guy that I bought the TQS want me to sell the Cougar stick for a great price ($100 in brazilian reais, a bargain) but I can't find enough information about compatible with the Warthog base. They are full compatible or I'm going to miss some function? It would be great to have a spare grip for a eventually problem. Do you think it's a big deal? Thanks for the help:thumbup: Intel 8700K@4.7ghz(all cores) / 32Gb DDR4 /WD Black SN750 Heatsink 500gb (DCS Only) / MSI GeForce RTX 2070 GAMING Z 8G / Windows 10 PRO / VPC WarBRD Base + Warthog Stick + Foxx Mount / Thrustmaster TPR pedals / Thustmaster MFD / Thrustmaster Warthog throttle + Monstertech chair mount
Alterscape Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 They are fully compatible. The Cougar stick does not have a push-in button on the CMS, but is otherwise the same stick with the same electrical interface. 1
GriffonBR Posted May 14, 2015 Author Posted May 14, 2015 Thanks mate. So I guess it's a big deal. Thermal Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 As stated, the Warthog Stick has a push button on the CMS, Cougar does not - apart from that they are functionally equivalent. They are slightly different in shape, size, button placement and button actuation force. Even the trigger itself is a new part. All the Cougar buttons require less activation force. Its all personal preference.
GriffonBR Posted May 15, 2015 Author Posted May 15, 2015 Thanks Thermal, now I just need my TUSBA to arrive. The throttle it's not brand new but it's in shape externally I don't know inside because I need the TUSBA to see if it's okay with the pots and buttons but I think it's all right. Thanks for the info.
