P-38 captured!

I share with you some rare pictures (in color and w/b) of fighters Lockheed P-38 Lightnings captured and with German and Italian markings during World War II. The P-38 served a lot in Europe and North Africa too, exactly where the Italians and Germans were. It had long range and good high-altitude performance - needed to escort bombers - and could carry bombs and rockets, plus a lot of guns for strafing.
