zenn Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 (edited) hi, i got a problem and i can't find it on the internet to solve it so i lock the tgp on a target, after i set the maverick soi i press and hoold V the align the maverick with the TGP . and SUDDENLY the TGP changes target to god knows where and the mav also. i hadn't had the problem before and i can't solve it :( note: the tgp an mav aims at the square why? anyone can help me  thanks Edited October 12, 2015 by zenn
TylerTheHottie Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 That was happening to me but in my particular case the reason that the mavericks were slewing god knows where was because, since by default they will make the current steerpoint the place where they will auto slew, they were going to the next waypoint in my flight plan. So I had to make sure that my current steerpoint was the range for instance. I know sometimes once you get close to the steerpoint it will automatically cycle to the next steerpoint so I would recommend just looking to see if that was your problem....
wolfstriked Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 You see the STPT on lower left of hud....that is showing that the steerpoint is the SPI.You need to lock TGP on target and then press TMS up at which point the lower left of hud should read TGP. Mike5560 Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 You need to make the TGP SOI and then TMS up long to make your TGP generate the SPI.
