The map does not show terrain contour lines anymore which makes navigating down low in the weed difficult. (http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=148930)

You can also zoom in (probably) indefinately - at one point the map goes just blank/white. If you keep pressing SCALE+, you have to press SCALE- as often to get back to the zoom level you were before.

Same applies to zooming out, but here the map actually resized each time you press SCALE-. I stopped trying that when I had almost the whole Black Sea shown ... which brought me from 80 ftp down to ~1-2 fps. :o)

When zooming out, all texts (city names, etc.) are always displayed - which results in an unreadable mess where the whole visible map just consists of blue, unreadable gibberish.

edit:

just played around some more: zooming in actually goes only down to a map scale of 1 : 0:15. The map goes white when zooming in to 1 : 0.60

Maximum zoom out is ... no idea. Well, untill "DCS has stopped responding" (but it is probably just busy re-displaying the whole Black Sea ;o)

I still do have contour lines, sort of. Also, I've found that turning of the population places in the MENU>SETUP>CHART list removes the cloud of blue names. When you turn of the TEXT option it doesn't work. See attached screenshots.

When I zoom in further I first get only contour lines on the light blue background. after that I have the blue background only.

I think they are changing the ABRIS to work with different maps(NTTR, Straight of Hormuz) and are using a adaption of the F10 map view.
