Pindol Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 hello or maybe someone with fellow knows how to turn on the emergency generator which is located underneath the hull and what is it used?
SilentGun Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 (edited) Generator hidden under the hull in L-39 Albatros If your talking about the ram air turbine (RAT) it can be extended with one of the red levers on the right side of he cockpit (I think it's the 3rd from the left) and it's used to power basic flight instruments and restart the engine if it flames out. (Sorry for typos I'm using tapatalk on my phone :) ) Edited October 26, 2015 by SilentGun Link to my Imgur screenshots and motto http://imgur.com/a/Gt7dF One day in DCS... SilentGun Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Could you explain that a little better? the "generator" I'm talking about is this, the RAT: which is activated manually with the third red lever from the left in the back right side of the cockpit: or it will come out automatically when the engine isn't providing enough power to the electrical systems in flight (engine flameout) (P.S. I'm using the NX63MX livery for my l-39) Link to my Imgur screenshots and motto http://imgur.com/a/Gt7dF One day in DCS... Vipers will fly along side Tomcats...
