BadHabit
Anybody who understands how and when hypoxia is happening can help.. Many times in flight at altitude above 6000m i happen to suffer from hypoxia being at that level for some time. Emergency oxygen and 100% oxygen doesn't help and i have to go down low again to recover.. So what is happening and what am i missing here? Cosmonut
Did you pressurize the cockpit? You not only have to lock it but pressurize it to prevent hypoxia from occurring. These two levers should be in this position for the cockpit to be both secured and pressurized.

Mike5560
I had the same thing happen on a longer flight on the stillness in time campaign. I thought I had forgot to seal the cockpit, but I in fact did. Is the helmet vent thing in the user manual checklist?
Bogey Jammer
No, the checklist is minimalistic. However the oxygen supply system is supposed to be already operational even during cold startup. That's one of the first things to setup while entering the cockpit according to the real MiG-21bis flight manual. So it's probably a bug.
