How do I get 1.5 On Steam?

My DCS runs through Steam and I purchased the A-10C on Steam. How do I get both of these to update. When I open DCS up, it's still the older version. If I install 1.5 from the files, then it seems like the A-10C won't show up in the new game.

select properties

click betas tab

opt into beta
