CBU-87 rotational spin modelled?

I know you can change the rotation spin of the CBU-87 cluster bombs in the inventory OSB of the DMS and this is supposed to along with the HOF affect the spread of the bomblets.

 

So although the function is modelled on the DMS, is it actually modelled in reality in DCS? So does changing the settings in cockpit affect the weapons spin rate in practice in the Sim?

I think I read from some of the experts here that the only value that affects the CBU behaviour in the simulation is HOF.
