ЖДЁМ!

 

We received Beta 12 of V1.02 on Friday and have been testing ever since. We had a marathon MP effort for 14 hours on Friday and have played several hours of single player and even more MP this afternoon.

 

This latest build is the best performance we have seen yet. All the testers are reporting better framerates and stability in both MP and single player.

 

There are a few bugs to report but they do not appear to be major problems. We have encountered a few random crashes but they have happened only after hours of extended MP with users leaving and then joining the session again later. These crashes are infrequent and cannot be reproduced.

 

Another problem is that one of the F-15C training missions is not working properly and we want to fix it. No real show stoppers but we have to fix that training mission.

 

There are a few minor glitches that we are trying to work out that are mostly cosmetic or very trivial.

 

We will continue testing through Sunday and will discuss the status of the patch with the Development Team in Moscow.

 

I am very optimistic about this build and hope that we can fix the remaining minor problems without major changes to the code so that we can begin the process of final review by Ubi Soft.

 

Again, I caution everyone to not get your hopes too high as anything can happen. The patch will be released after testing and final approval by Ubi Soft. At that time it still will require procedures for it to be set up for distribution on Ubi's FTP servers and the various mirror sites.

 

Please remain patient. I know you all want an exact release date but I can't give you one. We want this patch finished and released more than anyone, but we want it to be done correctly and the final evaluation and distribution is up to Ubi Soft.
